Job Description SharePoint SME London or Birmingham (6-Month FTC) - HybridAbout the RoleViqu is partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a 6-month fixed term. The role will focus on optimizing, managing, and evolving the firms SharePoint environment (on-premise and Azure cloud), ensuring high-performing, resilient services for users and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the SharePoint SME, providing expert guidance across on-premise and Azure cloud environments.Lead platform upgrades, deployments, and performance optimization initiatives.Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.Integrate SharePoint with SSO, MFA, and Azure services.Troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint and web platform issues.Mentor and coach team members on SharePoint best practices.Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and CMDB updates to improve service efficiency.Identify and implement improvements to enhance platform resilience and performance.Key RequirementsProven experience as a SharePoint SME with on-premise and cloud (Azure) environments.Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.Experience with SSO, MFA, and Azure integrations desirable.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Proactive, analytical, and able to recommend service improvements.Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.Apply in confidence with Belle Hegarty at VIQU IT: 0121 295 3700 | [email protected] someone great?
