In this hands-on role, youll be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical machine tools that support our advanced manufacturing and test operations.Youll work closely with the Maintenance Team Lead and collaborate with Equipment Maintenance Technicians to ensure production-critical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality standards.What youll be responsible for:Delivering preventative maintenance and repair support for machine tool equipment, with backup support for test systemsEnsuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards, leaving equipment calibrated and production-readyManaging parts procurement and inventory to enable timely, cost-effective maintenanceMaintaining accurate risk assessments and adhering to health and safety protocolsParticipating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across work areasWhat makes this role unique:Youll support a site with over 150+ test systems and manage up to 10 concurrent support activitiesYoull be part of a collaborative, high-performance maintenance team that values precision, reliability, and teamworkYoull help resolve time-sensitive issues under pressure, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skillsWhat youll bring:A vocational qualification in engineering and 5+ years experience in hydraulic, mechanical, or mechatronic rolesFamiliarity with electronic circuits and machine tool diagnosticsKnowledge of robotics systems (advantageous)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Indysoft, Teamcenter, PIRANA is a plusA proactive, trustworthy approach with high personal standards and a commitment to team successWhat We Offer:Flexible benefits package and development opportunities to support career progression33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Private medical insurance, mental health support and financial adviceGenerous life assurance and company pension contribution (from 6%)Employee share options, free onsite parking, EV charging and gym facilitiesWe review applications on an ongoing basis, and the job posting will be closed once a suitable candidate is selected.
