Job Description SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE CHANGE:Experience: Financial Reporting Transformation + Financial Services (Insurance adv.)Manager 90,000-110,000 + package (incl. 25% bonus, pension etc.)Location: City of London, flexible hybrid (WFH 2-3 days p/wk)Pear Talent is representing a listed Financial Services business who have a new opportunity for a Senior Manager, Finance Change in their Financial Reporting team. Supporting the Head of Financial Reporting youll lead on multiple financial reporting related change and improvement initiatives, along with the group-wide finance transformation programme. With the organisation continuing to grow exponentially, their use of systems and automation tools needs to match this. Key accountabilities:You'll play a key part in a business-wide programme improving financial reporting processes, systems, processes and controls impacted by international reporting requirements and business growth. This will involve challenging the status-quo, identifying issues, proposing solutions through innovative and creative methods and delivering the end-to-end change methodology as required to enable the business to succeed.You'll partner effectively with the appropriate business divisions and internal customers to ensure that all systems and process changes are effectively designed and delivered through to production in an efficient, cost-effective and timely manner, whilst maintaining accounting integrity and alignment with wider commercial objectives.This team have regular interaction with senior stakeholders so youll need to be comfortable working under pressure and skilled at partnering with senior leadership to deliver theoretical solutions into adopted business as usual.Required experience:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)Significant post-qualification experience of financial reporting related change and transformation in Financial Services (ideally Insurance) is essential.Experience with system implementation and process improvementsStrong understanding of finance systems, exposure to tools such as Blackline or Workiva advantageous Experience gained in industry or from Top10 practice of Insurance reporting, including IFRS 17 and Solvency II experience advantageous Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of business and to develop and maintain strong relationshipsIf this isnt for you but you know someone whod be interested, then why not confidentially recommend them by clicking here http://peartalent.co.uk/spread-the-word/.
