Job Description Aureos IDEC is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Preston Brook.Working within Aureos Energy Business Unit, and forming a part of the Commercial team, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor plays an integral part in delivering exceptional commercial results. Your role will require you to:Capably submit applications and control credit processesUnderstanding of income forecast and pricing of variationsUnderstanding of the change control systemUnderstanding of project riskProduction of cost value reconciliation (CVRs) with supportProduce cost to complete with supportUnderstanding the production of forecasting dataUnderstanding the costing processUnderstanding the management of the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation.Assisting with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.Upload documentation as and when necessary, in line with business requirements.Review weekly site records including allocation sheets and site diaries.Attend project progress meetings.Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial performance reports.Gain experience outside of the commercial function to better understand the role of the business and the quantity surveyor within the business.Secondary tasks and dutiesWe operate a team ethos across the Energy Business Unit and strive to assist colleagues in the execution of their duties where this is appropriate and brings added value.
