Job Title: Maintenance EngineerLocation: Ledbury, GloucestershirePay Range/details: Competitive Salary + BenefitsContract Type: PermanentOur client, is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its experienced engineering team.Key Responsibilities - Maintenance EngineerPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all production equipment to minimise downtime.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs effectively.Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices.Identify areas for improvement within the production process and propose solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.Assist in the implementation of process improvement projects, including machinery upgrades and layout changes.Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the engineering team.Ensure compliance with food safety standards, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in all engineering activities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including completed tasks, spare parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.Utilise the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to log all maintenance activities and generate reports as needed.Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure engineering support aligns with production goals.Provide training and support to junior engineers and apprentices as required.Qualifications & Requirements - Maintenance EngineerNVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent; HNC/HND or higher in an engineering discipline is desirable.Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer.Good understanding of problem solving and modern lean manufacturing techniques.Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, from production floor to management and directors.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with a hands-on approach.Excellent team player, proactive, inquisitive, and flexible attitude to work.Ability to support weekend and bank holiday working when required.Motivated, diligent, logical, and analytical.What We Offer - Maintenance EngineerFull-time hours with rotating shift pattern (5.30am-2pm / 1.30pm-10pm, Monday to Friday).Career progression opportunities.Company pension scheme.Free on-site parking.Friendly family-run business environment.Company events and referral programmeTo apply or for more information, please contact: Charlie Boulton – 01453 852544 or email your CV to: Resource Group – Specialist recruiters for Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive and Technical sectors.
