Mill Operative Night Shift Location: Brackmills, Northampton (NN4) Rate of Pay: 16.77 per hour Shift Pattern: SundayThursday, 22:4506:45 Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm Recruiter: Quest Employment Northampton About the Role Quest Employment is looking for Mill Operatives to join a leading food production facility based in Brackmills. The site manufactures seasoning blends and spice mixes supplied to well-known UK retailers and food manufacturers. This position provides long-term stability, ongoing training, and the chance to progress within a clean, organised, and modern manufacturing environment. Main Duties Running and overseeing milling equipment within a fast-paced production area Completing routine quality, hygiene, EQMS, and RedZone checks (training provided) Ensuring equipment operates safely and consistently Loading ingredients and making simple machine adjustments when necessary Carrying out quality inspections and visual checks Logging production information accurately and escalating issues when needed Keeping work areas tidy and adhering to food safety and hygiene requirements Working closely with colleagues across the production team What Were Looking For Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual work Previous machine operation or FMCG/food production experience is desirable Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Reliable, punctual, and a good team player Happy to work permanent night shifts Benefits Hourly rate of 16.77 Temp-to-perm pathway after 12 weeks Weekly pay through Quest Employment Full training on all systems, machinery, and quality checks Modern, clean working environment in Brackmills Supportive on-site team How to Apply Send us your CV to be considered for this opportunity.
