Senior Surveyor - Hackney Salary: Up to 90,000 + Car Allowance Sector: Large RC Frame / New Build Residential Location: Hackney, London A long-established and highly respected main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to take a leading commercial role on major RC frame, new build residential schemes in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, reputable organisation with a strong presence in complex urban regeneration projects. The Role You will oversee the commercial performance of large residential developments, ensuring robust cost control and smooth project delivery. Key responsibilities include: Leading the commercial function on RC frame new build schemes Managing cost planning, valuations, variations, and financial reporting Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and package management Ensuring accurate contract administration and compliance Supporting senior management with strategic commercial decisions Working closely with operational teams to ensure programme and budget alignment Mentoring and supporting junior members of the commercial team About You Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS within main contracting Strong background in RC frame and new build residential projects Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of contract law Confident communicator with strong negotiation and leadership skills Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working on fast-paced, high-value urban developments What's on Offer Salary up to 90,000 , depending on experience Car allowance plus a competitive package of benefits Opportunity to work on major residential projects shaping the Hackney skyline Strong career progression prospects within a respected contractor Supportive commercial team and long-term role stability TPBN1_UKTJ
