Job Description Production Engineer Gloucester, GloucestershireAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester. This permanent role offers the chance to play a key part in driving optimisation, efficiency, and quality across complex production processes.The Production Engineer will work within the Quality department and will be responsible for developing process controls, reducing waste, and ensuring high standards of performance across the value stream. Based in Gloucester, the role will also involve supporting the introduction of new products and processes, applying proven methodologies to strengthen production capabilities.Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer:Drive optimisation and continuous improvement within manufacturing processes in Gloucester.Develop and maintain process controls, PFMEA, and Control PlansCreate and manage process maps to improve flow and reduce wasteAnalyse and monitor production data, recommending improvementsSupport the introduction of new products and processes into the Gloucester siteSkills & Experience Required:Significant Production Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindsetWorking knowledge of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, SPC, and 5SAbility to read and interrogate engineering drawingsExperience with APQP tools (PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plans) desirableThis is an outstanding opportunity for a Production Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, based in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment in Gloucester.You can also contact Keelan Riley on [email protected] or call 01525 664852 for more information.
