Job Description Power Systems Engineer | London (Hybrid)Were seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to join a leading energy infrastructure developer with a global portfolio of renewable energy projects.The team delivers renewable energy projects entirely in-housefrom design and planning to construction.Location: London |Work Week: 4 days (MonThu) |Key Responsibilities:Grid Connection & Compliance: Conduct feasibility studies and manage grid connection applications for renewable and digital infrastructure projects.Energy Capacity Reviews: Assess network capacity, develop reinforcement strategies, and resolve congestion or voltage issues.Grid Market Intelligence: Keep up-to-date with emerging codes, policies, and technical standards; recommend operational improvements.DNO Management: Manage relationships with Distribution Network Operators and oversee grid connection approvals.Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of electricity transmission & distribution networks, substation design, and power system analysis tools.Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and reliability.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.5+ years experience in renewable energy and UK grid systems.Expertise in power system analysis tools (e.g., DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD, ETAP).Familiarity with G59/G99, G100, and relevant UK regulatory frameworks.
