Key responsibilities - Learning & Development Specialist Designing and delivering technical training to teams across manufacturing. Creating development pathways and supporting individual progression. Building training materials, exercises and assessments tailored to engineering skills. Evaluating competence and supporting certification of skills across multiple disciplines. Ensuring accurate, up-to-date training records in internal systems and LMS platforms. Working closely with leaders to identify critical training needs. Maintaining quality, KPIs and continuous improvement across all training programmes. Skills & Experience - Learning & Development Specialist Experience training, coaching or developing people in an engineering environment. Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. Understanding of manufacturing processes (aerospace, defence, automotive, or similar). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint. Bonus Points For: Experience with LMS systems or digital training content. Background in aerospace, aircraft systems, defence, MRO, or precision engineering. Quality/inspection knowledge. Qualifications Level 4 (HNC) or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Train-the-Trainer qualifications are a plus. BPSS clearance eligibility required. Why Apply?
