Position: Learning and Development Manager Location: Derby Salary: >38250 Role: Permanent Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning and Development Manager in the Derby area on a permanent basis. The position for the Learning and Development Manager will see the candidate working alongside management teams to ensure the company is meeting the training and development needs. This will involve delivering high- quality training, implementing appraisals and to ensure the staff are knowledgeable enough to provide outstanding care. The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for: Delivering mandatory training to all frontline staff. Respond to urgent training needs as required. Research, design, and deliver training packages to strengthen workforce capability. Research and introduce new training and learning opportunities. Liaise with Registered Managers to identify ways to improve service quality. Support managers in planning their workforce development. The Learning and Development Manager will need: Recognised training qualification (e.g. PTLLS/DTLLS, AET, or equivalent). MUST HAVE experience delivering training in the Children's residential care settings.. MUST HAVE knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in childrens residential care. Good IT skills, including use of training databases and Microsoft Office. Accreditation in restraint/physical intervention training. Experience designing and delivering bespoke training packages. Previous experience supporting staff undertaking NVQs or Diplomas. The minimum courses the Learning and Development Manager will need to deliver: First Aid PBS 3 day PBS 1 day refresher Safeguarding Whistleblowing Medication Administration Suicide Self Harm Awareness and Ligature Training PACE/ NVR TPBN1_UKTJ
