Job Description Area Manager - Pharmacy OperationsLocation: North-West RegionSalary: 65,000 per annum + extensive company benefitsFull-Time | PermanentAre you an experienced GPhC registered manager with a track record of managing multiple sites, driving operational performance, and ensuring compliance and customer safety?We are seeking an Area Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple pharmacies. This is a hands-on role, combining operational management with branch-level leadership for two days per week.The successful candidate will drive operational performance, commercial growth, and compliance, while mentoring branch managers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer and patientexperiences.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support multiple pharmacies, ensuring operational excellence, customer/patient safety, and regulatory compliance.Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to drive service growth and retail sales.Monitor performance through KPIs, budgets, and regular branch visits, taking corrective action where necessary.Mentor, train, and motivate branch managers and their teams to build high-performing, engaged workforces.Optimise stock control, purchasing, and cost management to improve commercial performance.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and service partners.Ensure branches deliver consistent, high-quality customer service, operational standards, and accurate reporting.Candidate Profile5+ years experience in multi-site management within pharmacyMust be GPhC registeredProven success in operational leadership, performance management, and team development.Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering growth in services and retail sales.Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, customer/patient safety, and compliance standards.Strategic thinker with the ability to implement operational frameworks and improve processes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.BenefitsOffering up to 60,000 per annumCompany car and mileage allowancePerformance bonusComprehensive employee benefits packageFor a confidential discussion, contact Tom Fitch on 02393 874295 or email your CV to [email protected] Associates Ltd is acting as a recruitment consultancy for this permanent vacancy.Referral Bonus: Recommend a candidate and receive 200 in John Lewis vouchers when they are successfully placed.
