This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to both customers and colleagues.As the first point of contact for incoming and outbound calls and email enquiries, youll play a key role in supporting our Area Sales Managers and business clients. Youll manage a wide range of sales office functions, coordinate technical and logistical support, and help drive performance through targeted marketing and CRM activity.Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:Respond promptly to inbound calls and email enquiries on the client lineAssist with quotes, sample requests, haulage coordination, pack/load confirmations and stock availabilityManage site registrations and stock reservationsSchedule appointments and support trade day planningCollaborate with marketing and ASMs to organise display materialsCoordinate special blend requests and provide technical assistanceMonitor CRM system and proactively contact branches to optimise stock levelsEngage merchants to promote products, arrange ASM visits, and deliver product trainingDrive sales of high-stock items and support targeted promotional campaignsWork towards achieving and exceeding monthly sales goalsMaintain accurate records including site registrations, quotes, project updates, and sample logsGenerate and manage reports such as opportunity trackers and contact lists for marketing outreachSupport marketing initiatives through mailshots and campaign coordinationDevelop stock profiles and proposalsAssist in onboarding and training new team membersManage shared inboxes and distribute sales communicationsAttend off-site meetings, trade events, and accompany ASMs when neededParticipate in stock audits and inventory checksSkills and ExperienceExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskConfident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office toolsA team player with a proactive and customer-first attitudePrevious experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role is desirableExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelyHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsProfessional telephone mannerAbility to work well in a busy, fast-paced environmentFull driving licence and access to own transport (essential due to location)The application process:Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
