About the Role:Our client is a well-established food manufacturer seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to join their team. As a growing business they are looking for someone to lead, manage, and oversee the day-to-day operations of their production facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to make an impact on both operational efficiency and staff development within a busy, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage daily production operations to meet customer expectationsEffectively allocate resources and optimise asset usage to maximise resultsOversee product quality, output, and on-time logisticsMonitor processes and take corrective actions where necessaryKeep up to date with best practices and production management techniquesFoster cross-department collaboration, including procurement, distribution, and managementManage and develop a team of supervisors and staff (approximately 50 staff across 5 supervisors)Collaborate with Directors to implement cost-saving strategies and operational improvementsAddress employee concerns and grievancesRequirements:Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food industryIdeally you will have experience of a complex food productionDemonstrated staff management and development experienceKnowledge of quality standards and health 'safety regulations in a manufacturing environmentExcellent organisational and leadership skillsHands-on, lead-by-example attitude, with a willingness to jump in and support the team when neededIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to the growth of a well-established brand in the food manufacturing sector, we'd love to hear from you.
