You will work directly with clients, manage applications from inception through to decision, and support junior team members while contributing to wider business growth.Key Responsibilities: Preparing, managing, and submitting planning applications, appeals, and planning statementsLeading site appraisals, policy reviews, and feasibility assessmentsProviding commercially astute planning advice to clientsManaging and developing client relationshipsCoordinating with local authorities, stakeholders, and external consultantsSupporting the mentoring and development of junior plannersContributing to the delivery of high-quality planning solutions across multiple sectorsAbout You We are looking for a confident and commercially awareSenior Town Plannerwho can work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.Requirements: RTPI-accredited degree and MRTPI status (or close to submission)3-5 years’ experience within planning consultancy or a commercially focused planning roleStrong understanding of the UK planning system and development processExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunitiesFull UK driving licence preferredThis is a fantastic opportunity for aSenior Town Plannerwho is ready for the next step in their career and keen to join a consultancy that values expertise, initiative, and long term growth.If you are interested in thisSenior Town Plannerposition, please contactJoel Bland at Penguin Recruitment .
