A boutique employment law firm ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, is seeking an interim Employment Lawyer to support its growing caseload on an ad hoc hourly basis. This is a fully remote opportunity (within the UK), with flexibility to work around your schedule. There is also scope for a permanent hire for the right candidate.About the FirmFounded by former City lawyers, the firm is known for its intellectual rigour, responsiveness, and commercial awareness. Recent work includes:Weekly flow of 10+ settlement agreementsEmployee due diligence for large corporate transactionsComplex disputes involving discrimination, restrictive covenants, and high court enforcementWhat You’ll Do You’ll work closely with senior lawyers on a variety of employment law matters, including:Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and service agreementsAdvising on grievance and disciplinary proceduresNegotiating senior employee exits and settlement agreementsHandling employment tribunal claims and high court enforcementProviding strategic advice on TUPE, redundancy, and HR complianceIdeal Candidate ProfileUK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years PQE in employment law Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious mattersComfortable working independently and remotelyAble to provide pragmatic, commercially sound adviceCompensationHourly rate up between £80 - £110 (depending on experience)Flexible engagement: ad hoc, day rate, or project-basedOutside of IR35.
