Desktop Support Engineer - Active SC Clearance - Long TermYou will resolve incidents for users, maintain Windows 10 devices, and ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, printers, VPNs, mobile devices and meeting room technology.Key responsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows 10, applications, networks, VPNs, printers, mobile devices and Microsoft Managed Desktop environmentsManage incident queues, monitor requests via phone, email and Microsoft Teams, and document tickets accuratelyRespond promptly to reactive and proactive incidents, including VIP user supportBuild and deploy workstations using approved images, handle device moves, deliveries, collections and retirementProvide Tech-Bar walk-up support and conference room setupPerform Active Directory account management, password resets, group changes and antivirus administrationManage hardware assets, printer consumables, cloud printing and conference room AV equipmentEssential requirementsActive SC clearance (used in the last 12 months with at least 3 months remaining before lapse)Full UK driving licenceProven experience troubleshooting Windows 10 in a Microsoft Managed Desktop environmentStrong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to multitask under pressureDesirable skillsKnowledge of Intune administration and Azure AD joiner/leaver processesExperience with Microsoft Teams administration, SharePoint and Office apps (L1 support)Familiarity with Starlink satellite devices, iOS configuration and cloud printingUnderstanding of ITIL processes and conference room AV equipment
