This is a pivotal senior appointment, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the entire construction lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and commercial performance.This role is perfect for a seasoned leader who thrives on challenge, possesses exceptional commercial acumen, and has a demonstrable background in delivering complex, multi-site projects.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute the construction strategy for the entire portfolio, providing clear direction and oversight to project teams.End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of all projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.Financial Management: Hold full P&L and budgetary control for the construction division. Prepare detailed cost plans, manage cash flow, and implement robust cost control measures.Pre-Construction & Design: Work collaboratively with the internal development team and external consultants to provide buildability input, value engineering, and procurement advice.Health, Safety & Quality: Champion a culture of zero harm. Ensure full compliance with all NI/UK H&S legislation (including CDM 2015) and drive the highest standards of quality and environmental management.Team & Supply Chain Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of site and project managers. Manage, appraise, and build strong relationships with main contractors and the wider supply chain.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary construction lead for the Board, investors, and clients.
