Azure Cloud EngineerPermanent | Home-Based (UK)Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefitsSkills: Azure, Windows Server, Terraform (desirable), SC ClearanceWe're looking to recruit an SC Cleared Azure Cloud Engineer to for a leading IT Consultancy. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, learn from senior colleagues, and take on real responsibility in a supportive environment.This is a fully remote role with minimal travel. Due to the nature of projects valid SC Clearance is essential.What You'll Be Doing:Supporting cloud and infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem environmentsAssisting in resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service DeskCollaborating with engineers and project teams to maintain secure and resilient systemsMonitoring systems to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with SLAsUpdating and maintaining support documentation and technical runbooksSupporting the transition of new systems from project teams into BAUOccasionally assisting with hands-on physical infrastructure tasks (e.g., hardware swaps)Desired Skills & Experience:Exposure to Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS and Entra ID (Azure AD)Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2012 R2 - 2022)Good understanding of Active Directory and core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO)Familiarity with Office 365 administration and setupBasic knowledge of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)Interest in or some experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-CodeSome scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) is a plusValid SC ClearanceThis is an excellent opportunity to deepen your technical skills, gain exposure to enterprise-scale cloud systems, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and secure environment.
