Energy Consultant (OCDEA / SAP Assessor) | Manchester | up to £36,000Are you an ambitious Energy Consultant with experience within the build environment?Looking for a role where your technical expertise genuinely shapes a more sustainable future?PT Renewables is partnered with a boutique and growing consultancy who are looking for a motivated On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA).The RoleYou'll join an established sustainability and compliance team and deliver on a wide range of residential and commercial projects.Day to day, you’ll:Carry out SAP assessments and calculationsComplete overheating assessments, water efficiency calculations and U-value calculationsProduce energy statements and technical reports for planningSupport clients in meeting Building Regulations, planning policy and sustainability targetsSelect the right methodologies and compliance strategies for each projectThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a few years experience in delivering on energy consultancy projects and is ambitious to help grow in a new environment.You’ll need:OCDEA (SAP) qualification and hands-on assessment experienceStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standardsExperience using energy modelling software (ideally Elmhurst Design SAP)Excellent communication and client-facing skillsWorking knowledge of UK environmental regulations and sustainability criteriaIt would also be great if you have:Degree-level education in a relevant disciplineMembership of a professional body (IEMA, CIBSE, LCC, etc.)Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sectorPackageSalary up to £36,000Hybrid working near ManchesterPrivate healthcareClear progression routes and ongoing trainingSupportive working culture and regular social activitiesIf you have 3-4 years experience within Energy Consultancy/Assessments and are looking for your next move - apply now!
