The Role Major regeneration construction project near Reading valued at 500m. The project involves the construction of several new build commercial buildings. Delivering a portfolio of complex building packages valued between 5m-20m each. All packages are being delivered using NEC4 Contracts. Key Responsibilities Deliver the commercial strategy for a section of a major building project from the initial calculations to close out. Negotiate with subcontractors, award contracts that achieve estimated costs and project strategy. Ongoing management of subcontractors, achieving the required standards and quality. NEC contract management, minimising costs and risks, while enhancing value for money. Negotiate and submit claims, variations and compensation events. Prepare commercial progress and financial reconciliation reports. Interface with the customer and project team stakeholders to deliver their commercial requirements. What We're looking For Our client is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak with experienced Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression. You will have a minimum of 5 years commercial experience across any construction sector for a main contractor, subcontractor, or consultancy. Must have experience of delivering NEC contracts, including the delivery of change management activities such as early warning notices and compensation events.
