This is a key role working closely with the UK HR Manager to deliver a professional, efficient and reliable HR service to the UK operations, with occasional involvement in global projects. Based mainly in Cambridge (2 days a week) with some travel to London, this role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real contribution to a respected organisation. Key responsibilities Support the performance appraisal process Deliver day-to-day HR activities across UK operations (and globally when required) Assist the UK HR Manager with UK and global HR projects Conduct training needs analysis and help develop the UK training plan Provide accurate information for payroll and document monthly changes Prepare HR-related reports as needed Manage employee benefits and updates Support recruitment and onboarding, including pre-employment checks About you CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of UK employment law Experience in recruitment, payroll administration and HR systems Professional, proactive and detail-focused with sound judgement Whats on offer Salary: c25,000 per annum (c38k FTE) Hybrid working (Cambridge base, 2 days/week) 8% non-contributory pension Private medical insurance (family cover) Flexible benefits package 25 days holiday plus bank holidays This is a part-time position (approximately 0.65 FTE) , with flexibility for the right person the only fixed day required is Friday .
