Due to expansion in our operations, we are seeking a reliable and driven Assistant Field Service Technician to join our team in the Cornwall/Devon region. You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of advanced flow and level monitoring systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role is perfect for individuals who are practical, solution-focused, and comfortable working both independently and within small teams. Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, and maintain monitoring equipment in wastewater networks across the region, with occasional UK-wide travel. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective actions with minimal supervision. Work both outdoors and in confined spaces, ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Ensure high-quality documentation is maintained for all activities, including health and safety reports. Interact with clients, ensuring a professional and respectful approach when accessing private properties, including homes and business sites. Follow company procedures, including health, safety, and environmental practices, when on-site. Requirements: Hands-on experience with technical equipment installation, maintenance, or calibration (experience in environmental monitoring or wastewater is a plus). Comfortable working in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions. A full, clean UK driving licence Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, resourceful approach to technical issues. Polite, professional, and customer-focused when accessing residential or commercial sites.
