We are currently seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join our team In Basingstoke imi/nvq city and guilds light vehicle certification is required, As is a full uk driving licence and your own tools Mot tester advantage but not necessary. You must live within 15 miles of Basingstoke This is a Monday - Friday role 8am - 6pm 1 hour lunch break or Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and every other Saturday 8.30 - 5.30pm. 1 hour lunch break Salary is experience dependent but for the experience we require the salary will start at 38,000 ish plus bonus. We will pay more for the right technically experienced technician at 40,000+ bonus Overtime is available on Saturdays at additional pay but is not mandatory As a vehicle technician you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that they meet the required safety and environmental standards. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety of vehicles on the road. Responsibilities: - Inspect vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their roadworthiness - Identify and report any faults or potential problems to customers - Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to all makes and models. Experience: - Previous experience as a vehicle technician is essential - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for inspections and repairs - Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects - Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Proficient in using hand tools for inspections and repairs - Familiarity with power tools used in automotive maintenance If you are a skilled Vehicle technician looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
