BIM Modeller (Joinery Experience Required) Position: BIM Modeller Industry: Joinery / Manufacturing / Fit-Out Location: Bedfordshire Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeller with specialist joinery experience to join our growing design and engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of bespoke joinery, manufacturing processes, and technical drawing standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and detailed 3D models, producing fabrication drawings, and supporting project teams from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage detailed BIM models for bespoke joinery projects. Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, fabrication packs, and cutting lists. Collaborate with design, production, and site teams to ensure models align with project requirements. Review architectural and design information to generate coordinated joinery models. Ensure BIM standards, naming conventions and protocols are followed. Assist in clash detection and design coordination meetings. Update models throughout project stages, ensuring all revisions are captured accurately. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a BIM Modeller within joinery, carpentry, furniture, or fit-out sectors. Strong working knowledge of Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software. Ability to read, interpret and model from architectural drawings and specifications. Solid understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials, and construction details. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Experience with parametric modelling. Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards. Familiarity with CNC or manufacturing workflows.
