Job Description This Brigg Scientific client is a successful and growing company based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist with a strong background in analytical instrumentation and the drive to generate instrument and associated sales. Working within a small business, flexibility and quick learning will be key to success as you develop sales opportunities by advising customers on analytical instrumentation, maintenance contracts, technical support, delivery, installation and training.A predominantly sales role, any experience, knowledge or ability in the following would be an advantage:Practical chromatography and mass spectroscopy (GC, LC, IC etc, esp GCMS, LCMS)Inorganic or organic elemental analysis techniques, combustion, (ICP, AA, XRF)Petrochemicals key properties and analytical techniquesKey attributes include:Professional communication / persuasion - sales / skillsProblem-solvingIndependence, self-starter, the client-facing technical specialistFlexibility and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environmentThe role is based in the Greater Manchester area and commands a salary in the range of 30-40k dependant on experience. Performance related bonuses can be substantial. Usual sales position benefits are included.
