We are recruiting for full time Packing Operatives to work in our Bulk Pork Packing Department at our Westerleigh site who are keen to learn new skills, are focused and driven. You will also be responsible for complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.Working Hours: The vacancies are full time on a regular shift pattern across a 38.75 hour week covering the hours of 06:00am 14:30pm .Key Responsibilities:Ensure work is carried out to the best of the Operative's abilities to meet production deadlinesSeek training to maintain skills and remain up to date with best practiceWork as part of a team and take responsibility for own workCarry out all procedures in a safe manner in accordance with trainingComply with Company policy and procedures on safe food handling and hygiene at all timesMaintain responsibility for operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery and report faults to Management in a timely mannerMaintain personal PPECarry out any other reasonable duties assigned necessary to meet business needs.Operators will need to be flexible and use a variety of skills, understanding quality, product and safety requirements and be able to handle non routine situations which may arise.Key Requirements:Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable, although training is providedWillingness to learn in semi-skilled rolesGood communicationAbility to work on own initiative whilst working as part of a team, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfactionCandidates will need a can do' approach and must be able to handle working in a fast paced environment.If you would like further details on this vacancy please call or text the recruitment team on : 07483189696TPBN1_UKTJ
