Job Title: Lettings NegotiatorSubmit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.Reports To: Lettings & Hotel ManagerJob Type: Full-Time | On-siteJob OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic, target-driven Lettings Negotiator to join our growing property management and lettings team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sales mindset, and a genuine passion for property.In this role, you will be responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the letting process from initial enquiry to successful move-in while ensuring landlords receive a high standard of service. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a confident, proactive attitude.A. Lettings & NegotiationRegister and qualify prospective tenants; understand their needs and match them to suitable properties.Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information about available properties.Negotiate offers between tenants and landlords to secure successful lets.Generate new tenancy applications and progress deals through referencing to tenancy agreement signing.B. Administration & ComplianceEnsure all necessary checks are completed, including Right to Rent, ID verification, and references.Update and maintain property listings and applicant databases.C. External Relations & Community EngagementBuild strong relationships with tenants and landlords to encourage repeat business and referrals.Handle incoming queries from applicants, tenants, and landlords professionally and efficiently.Provide regular feedback to landlords on property marketing and viewings.D. Business Development & TargetsWork to agreed personal and team targets (e.g. viewings, lets agreed, conversions).Assist in canvassing and promoting new properties for let.Stay up-to-date with local rental market trends and competitor activity.F. Governance & Professional DevelopmentWork within company policies, government regulations and legislation.Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.G. Well-beingFoster strong relationships with tenants and guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction.Promote a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in lettings, property, or a similar sales-driven role (preferred but not essential).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation and objection-handling ability.Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance is desirable.Comfortable using property management/CRM software (e.g. Arthur, Alto, Reapit, etc.).This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to make a significant impact within a growing company.
