SEN Cover Supervisors - Special School (Secondary) Location: Erdington, Birmingham Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities Start: Immediate start available Required: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? Do you have the confidence to lead lessons and create a positive, engaging learning environment? Our specialist secondary school in Erdington is seeking dedicated SEN Cover Supervisors to join our team. As a SEN Cover Supervisor, you will: Lead and supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in our secondary provision Support students with a variety of complex needs, including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties Maintain a calm, structured classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and support assistants Manage behaviour positively and consistently in line with the school's policies We are looking for individuals who are: Experienced in working with young people, ideally in an SEN or secondary setting Confident in leading a classroom and delivering set work Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education Able to build positive relationships with students In possession of an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential) If you are passionate about helping students thrive and have the skills to lead lessons confidently, we would love to hear from you.
