Job Title: IT Programme ManagerContract Type: Contract, Inside IR35Contract Length: 6 Months (Dec – May)Location: 3 days on-site in Ipswich + International Travel (expenses paid)You’ll lead the successful delivery of strategic programmes that transform operations and customer experiences across a travel portfolio. This role provides strategic oversight and ensures measurable value across technology and business change initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Clearly define and deliver programmes aligned to business strategyEstablish objectives, scope, KPIs, and success measuresReport progress to executive stakeholdersOversee program planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple projectsManage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocationControl risks, issues, and dependencies effectivelyUphold governance and quality standardsBuild strong relationships with internal & external industry partnersLead steering committees and programme boardsEnsure timely communication and decision-makingWork with internal and third-party technical teams to ensure seamless implementationOversee vendor performance, contracts, and service levelsDrive digital transformation, automation, and continuous improvementOversee change management, communication, and training to embed new ways of workingRequired Skills & Experience:8+ years of IT programme management in travel / transport / hospitalityProven experience leading large-scale, multi-stream transformationsStrong financial control, commercial acumen, and governance skillsExcellent communication and leadership capabilityBachelor’s degree in business, Tourism, or Information SystemsDesirable:PRINCE2 / MSP / Agile certificationExperience with cruise industry systems / industry relationshipsMaster’s degree / MBA in Strategy, Operations, or Project ManagementExperience leading international or multi-brand initiatives
