Marketing Coordinator Motherwell, North Lanarkshire 26,000 to 32,000 12-month Fixed-Term Contract This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing Scottish biotechnology company working at the forefront of key R&D areas such as cancer research. If you're creative, driven, and hungry to learn, this role will fast-track your experience in social media, video, copywriting, and event planning. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of science and technology, where you'll be trusted to take ownership of your own projects, using your initiative and creativity to deliver high-impact content. You'll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager while having the autonomy to take initiative and deliver creative projects from concept to completion. THE ROLE : You will support the Senior Marketing Manager in coordinating and delivering day-to-day marketing activities across OracleBio and its sister company. The role is varied and fast-paced, offering hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, and event support. Working within a small but collaborative team, you'll play a key part in delivering engaging campaigns and maintaining brand visibility across both companies. Coordinating and scheduling content across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. Maintaining and updating blogs, websites and newsletters to ensure content is accurate and engaging. Supporting digital marketing campaigns and product or service launches. Assisting with video production, from scripting and filming to editing and post-production. Creating short-form clips and marketing materials such as case studies, presentations, and sales collateral. Coordinating event and conference logistics, including preparation of marketing materials and post-event follow-up content. Assisting with project tracking, supplier coordination, and marketing administration tasks such as invoice processing. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: To succeed in this role, you'll bring creativity, organisation, and a willingness to learn. Experience in a marketing, or relevant creative role, is required. Hands-on experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or video production. Strong organisational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident communicator with creative flair and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, or similar) is advantageous but not essential. LOCATION: The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home and office-based work. Employees are required to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office at BioCity Scotland, which provides free on-site parking, a caf, and a gym. SALARY & BENEFITS: 26,000 to 32,000, dependent on experience. 12-month full-time, fixed-term contract. A company bonus scheme. 32 days holiday per annum.
