KS2 Teaching Assistant Full Time 12 Week Temp to Perm Starts ASAP Warwick Some pupils need a little more time, structure, and encouragement to feel confident at school. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will help them find their rhythm in lessons, routines, and friendships. You will see real progress every day while building experience that can support future careers in education, psychology, or therapy. This is a full time KS2 Teaching Assistant role will start as soon as the right person is found. It begins as a 12 week temporary placement with a clear pathway to a permanent contract. You will join a welcoming, inclusive team that values patience, calm communication, and shared responsibility. Responsibilities Provide consistent classroom and small group support across KS2. Work with pupils who have autism and other additional needs. Adapt learning activities to match individual strengths and goals. Build positive relationships that encourage participation and progress. Support the class teacher with routines and behaviour expectations. Contribute to a team culture where every TAs input is valued. Requirements Level 3 TA qualification or relevant classroom experience. Psychology graduates with school based experience are encouraged to apply. Recent experience supporting pupils with SEND.
