The Role As Head Veterinary Nurse, youll play a pivotal role in managing the nursing team and ensuring smooth operation of our hospital across all departments. Youll have the freedom to shape workflows, influence clinical standards, and support both the day and night teams to deliver outstanding inpatient and emergency care.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment and takes pride in mentoring others while maintaining gold-standard nursing practice. Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and develop our team of RVNs, SVNs, and ACAs. Work closely with the Practice Manager to uphold hospital standards and drive continuous improvement. Support clinical work across wards, theatre, and consultations as needed. Champion a culture of empathy, teamwork, and professional growth. About You Registered Veterinary Nurse with leadership experience Confident in all aspects of nursing Confident managing a varied and sometimes fast-paced hospital environment. Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Approachable, supportive, and passionate about developing your team. A proactive, positive leader who thrives in an independent setting What We Offer Salary up to 45,000, depending on experience.
