A role with variety and responsibility no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance , installations , and inspections across the venue. Deliver temporary power , AV systems , and support for live events and functions . Support and supervise facilities operatives, contractors, and apprentices . Complete a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks , including plumbing, mechanical, and general building works. Ensure all work complies with health 'safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements . Work flexibly , including evenings, weekends, and event shifts . Use digital tools and the Building Management System (BMS) to log, monitor, and report maintenance activity. Candidate Requirements Fully qualified Electrician NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds equivalent, 18th Edition (essential). Proven experience in a multi-discipline maintenance or facilities role . Knowledge of temporary power systems, electrical installations , and AV systems for live events. Strong understanding of Health & Safety , including risk assessments (RAs) and safe working procedures (SWPs) . Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach . Additional certifications such as IPAF , ECS Card , or mechanical/FMs skills are advantageous. Physically fit and ready for a hands-on facilities maintenance role in a live events environment.
