Whats in it for you Competitive salary up to 35,000 (depending on experience) Performance-related bonus Free on-site parking Fully office-based role with a friendly, team-focused culture 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Career development support, including CII or Cert II qualifications A comfortable office with a self-contained kitchen area for lunch breaks What youll be doing As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you will: Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business Negotiate with insurers to secure the best cover and terms for clients Build strong relationships, ensuring a high standard of customer service and retention Support management with workflow, compliance, and mentoring junior team members Contribute to the smooth running and continued success of the brokerage What were looking for To succeed as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, youll need: Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally across Construction, SME Packages, Motor Fleet, PI, Cyber, Property Owners, and Liability Strong understanding of insurance principles, FCA compliance, and documentation Customer-focused approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with Open GI (MISYS) would be an advantage Progress towards or completion of CII qualifications (essential) Why youll love working here This is a business where people stay because theyre supported, trusted, and appreciated.
