You will work as part of the One Team to support the education and care of young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.Your role will include planning, organising, and delivering a curriculum tailored to pupils individual needs, linking academic and social/emotional progress, and reducing barriers to learning to help all pupils achieve their potential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver lessons and learning programmes (short, medium, long-term) based on the National Curriculum and specific accreditation requirements, tailored to pupils EHCPs.Maintain stimulating learning environments through engaging teaching strategies, displays, and in/out-of-class activities.Monitor and record individual and group progress, preparing reports in line with statutory and accreditation requirements.Set and track targets for achievement and behaviour, reflecting individual needs and overall school goals.General ResponsibilitiesWork proactively and positively with pupils and staff, collaborating across a multi-disciplinary team to meet individual pupil needs.Deploy and work alongside Teaching Assistants to optimise learning outcomes and behaviour.Coordinate with year-level or subject teams for planning, assessment, and pupil progress.Qualifications RequiredUK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentBe part of an exceptional school and inspire amazing pupils every day.About usBramfield House School is an independent special educational needs school for boys aged 7 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk.
