Area Operations Manager Consumer Healthcare Location: North-West Region Salary: 65,000 per annum extensive company benefits Full-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced consumer healthcare leader with a track record of managing multiple sites, driving operational performance, and ensuring compliance and customer safety? We are seeking an Area Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple branches in the consumer healthcare sector. This is a hands-on role, combining operational management with branch-level leadership for two days per week. The successful candidate will drive operational performance, commercial growth, and compliance, while mentoring branch managers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer and patient experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead and support multiple consumer healthcare branches, ensuring operational excellence, customer/patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to drive service growth and retail sales. Monitor performance through KPIs, budgets, and regular branch visits, taking corrective action where necessary. Mentor, train, and motivate branch managers and their teams to build high-performing, engaged workforces. Optimise stock control, purchasing, and cost management to improve commercial performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and service partners. Ensure branches deliver consistent, high-quality customer service, operational standards, and accurate reporting. Candidate Profile 5 years experience in multi-site management within consumer healthcare, retail healthcare, or related healthcare sectors Proven success in operational leadership, performance management, and team development. Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering growth in services and retail sales. Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, customer/patient safety, and compliance standards. Strategic thinker with the ability to implement operational frameworks and improve processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
