S upreme Recruitment are working alongside a rapidly expanding metal fabricator with an excellent reputation in the industry. They have won several large contracts with the Ministry of Justice to install outbuildings in to Midlands prison estates. To support this contract, several long term ongoing positions have become available for Steel Fitters and mates. Pay: Dependent on experience: 18-20 dependent on experience and qualifications Hours: Typically 5am starts, hours are dependent on workload but please expect long days CSCS Card/ DBS check essential: please do not apply unless you hold a valid CSCS and able to pass a criminal records check. This is due to nature of working within prisons. Duties Carry out installations of staircases, handrails and balustrades across the Midlands prison estate Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar position i.e. Steel Fitter or Steel Installation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for travel between job sites. .
