We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our School Admissions and Free School Meals Team. As part of our team, you will have responsibility for managing the processes to allocate school places across the County and have oversight of the free school meals service delivery using NCC's education management system, to ensure compliance with admissions and free school meals legislation. This interesting, diverse and demanding role requires outstanding communication skills as you will be required to confidently produce high quality reports, data and correspondence to a wide audience, including senior officers and councillors. Experience of working in a busy environment, balancing conflicting demands and meeting exacting deadlines is essential. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, self-motivated with a 'can-do' approach with excellent organisational skills. As part of this dynamic role, you will drive continuous improvement by reviewing working practice to ensure that processes are adhered to meticulously to enhance operational performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will join a strong and experienced team of professionals who work closely with schools and academies, NCC colleagues and other external partners to ensure the County Council discharges its statutory duties effectively. You will have a high level of personal drive, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience of working successfully within a regulatory environment to interpret and apply legislation is desirable. Although based at Meadow House, the Council operates hybrid working, either home working or from a suite of County Council offices across the county. This is a challenging, high-profile but rewarding role that will help to build on your already excellent approach to teamwork and service delivery. TPBN1_UKTJ
