We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager to drive execution of key training and development initiatives aligned with our strategic business goals. This role is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of structured, scalable programsespecially those targeting New Franchise Partner Success and Focused Performance Improvement within our UK network. This is a maternity cover role with high impact. Contract Type : Fixed-term (9 months) About the Role As the L&D Manager, you will serve as a strategic program executororganizing and leading cross-functional teams to deliver effective training that directly supports business outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, customer retention, lead conversion). You will operationalize training as a blended, tracked, and measured program, not a series of one-off events. Your efforts will be focused in four key areas: New Franchise Partner onboarding and ramp-up (New Center Program) Performance development programs (Wheel of Excellence segments) Network-wide initiatives (e.g., system rollouts like LeadFlow) Advanced learning support (for mature and high-performing centers) Core Responsibilities: Program Execution & Ownership Translate strategic goals into executable training programs tied to specific KPIs (e.g., onboarding ramp speed, revenue milestones, conversion rates). Own the lifecycle of programs from planning through execution and evaluation, ensuring structured rollouts, adherence to timelines, and learning milestones. Cross-Functional Coordination Lead cross-functional program teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to support training execution. Act as the functional lead for programmatic initiatives while coordinating execution and reporting with department heads. Instructional Design & Delivery Design learning solutions across formats: live sessions, on-demand modules, workshops, simulations, and performance groups. Leverage internal systems (LMS, dashboards, portals) to drive learner engagement and content delivery. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Establish learning KPIs at Levels 14 (Completion Results), ensuring that business outcomes are tracked and reported. Regularly evaluate program impact on lead generation, sales conversion, operational performance, and customer retention. Stakeholder Communication & Engagement Serve as liaison to Franchisee Education Committee and internal stakeholders. Report program performance outcomes and key milestones to regional and global leadership. Requirements: 5 years of experience in teaching, training, instructional design, or subject matter expertise in shipping, fulfillment, print, and marketing solutionswhether in business, education, or nonprofit settings. Proven ability to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that drive real-world performance and behavior change. Experience managing projects or initiatives that required collaboration across departments or teams. Comfortable working with digital tools, learning platforms (LMS), and productivity software (e.g., G-Suite, MS Office). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences. A strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution abilityyou can plan a program and roll up your sleeves to run it. Business acumen and curiosityespecially around sales, operations, marketing, or customer experience. Experience in a franchise, multi-location, or client-based environment is a plus, but not required. Willingness to travel to support training delivery and network engagement as needed. Knowledge of e-learning platforms, simulations, and blended learning strategies desired Strong business acumenparticularly around sales, marketing, and operational KPIs. Willingness to travel and support network-wide initiatives in-person as needed.
