Pertemps Professional Recruitment are working on behalf of Cumberland Council to recruit agency social workers for their children and families teams based in Carlisle and Workington. The role is on their Support and Protection teams with duties including: Formulate care plans and assessments Multi agency working Child Protection Court work Looked After Children Listening to the voice of the child Building relationships with children and their families You will be working in supportive teams overseen by experienced team and senior management. This is one of the few authorities that still offers accommodation / travel allowance to help with the commute to what is a beautiful part of the country.
