Ullapool (Inverness considered) 16.28 per hour Full-time Global Highland are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Driver to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable business, offering a competitive hourly rate and a varied role that involves collections and deliveries, including travel to Stornoway. Key Responsibilities: Drive vehicles in accordance with the law and safe working practices. Operate within tachograph law, driver hours, and working time directive requirements. Safely load and secure vehicles to minimise risk of damage or injury. Complete timely collections and deliveries as scheduled. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues. Maintain cleanliness of the drivers cab and vehicle exterior. Complete all required delivery/collection paperwork and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and costs. Attend essential training and comply with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards. Skills & Experience Required: Valid, clean HGV Licence. Minimum of 1 years HGV driving experience. Strong knowledge of geographical areas. Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and ability to follow instructions. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Familiarity with standard vehicle equipment (e.g. pallet trucks). Whats in it for you? Competitive hourly rate Full-time, secure employment.
