Job Description Materials Planner Manufacturing | Buckley | 30,000 35,000 per annumWere working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Buckley, who are looking to recruit an experienced Materials Planner to join their supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and experience in materials or production planning to play a key role in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.As Materials Planner, youll be responsible for ensuring materials are available to meet production requirements, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimising waste. Working closely with purchasing, production, and logistics teams, youll help drive efficiency across the supply chain.Key responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and manage the flow of materials to support production targetsMonitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain availabilityCreate and maintain accurate forecasts and MRP dataWork with production teams to address shortages, delays, or changes in demandAnalyse material usage and adjust plans accordinglySupport continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain functionAbout YouWere looking for someone with:Experience in a materials planning, production planning, or supply chain role within a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical and organisational skillsProficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departmentsA proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities
