The Role An experienced and motivated External Sales Executive. This is a field-based role with responsibility for developing and managing business across the South East. Youll spend four days visiting customers and prospects, with one day per week in the Horsham office for planning, administration and teamwork. External Sales Executive Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, building strong long-term relationships. Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory. Promote the companys full range of metal products and services. Prepare quotations, follow up leads and close sales. Work closely with the internal sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order handling and customer satisfaction. Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales performance. About You: Proven track record in external or field sales ideally within the metals, engineering or construction materials industry. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Commercially aware, target-driven and proactive. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own diary. Full UK driving licence (essential).
