Sales Manager - Internal Sales Team Location - Cwmbran - Office based with no travel requirement within the role Focus - Sales leadership, development and mentoring of the internal sales team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially drivenSales Managerto join a leading international engineering solutions provider supplying process equipment and systems to the pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology sectors. This is a newly created role based at the companysCwmbran offices, supporting nationwide operations and contributing directly to the growth and development of the UK business. The Role As part of the senior management team, youll take a hands-on leadership role overseeing a dynamic internal sales team, providing strategic and technical direction, and strengthening collaboration across external sales, operations, and supply chain functions. Youll play a key role in shaping company strategy, driving commercial performance, and ensuring seamless execution across all customer-facing activities. Your remit will include managing commercial operations, developing supplier relationships, supporting HR and recruitment initiatives, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Youll also champion digital innovation, CRM adoption, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver long-term growth and an exceptional customer experience. Candidate Profile Were looking for a proven sales professional with strong commercial awareness and leadership skills, gained within engineering, manufacturing, or technical distribution. Youll bring: Experience managing internal and/or external sales teams Strong communication, organisational and analytical abilities An innovative mindset with a results-driven approach Previous experience in manufacturing - Preferably in any of the following - Pumps, Valves, Seals, Actuators, Filtration etc Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive leadership style Competence in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications Why Join?
