Were on the hunt for a passionate Senior Chef to join our friendly team at The Walled Garden , our award-winning 130-cover restaurant at Knights Garden Centre in Godstone . Youll be the heartbeat of the kitchen leading the team day to day, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure every dish that leaves the pass looks (and tastes!) amazing. Its a great opportunity for an experienced chef who wants to step up and take charge, without the full-on pressures of a Head Chef role. What we offer: 1415 per hour (depending on experience) Full-time, 40 hours per week Daytime shifts Monday to Friday with alternate weekends Discounted or Free meals on shift Pension Tips What youll be doing: Running the kitchen day to day and keeping service running like clockwork Working with the team to create tasty, seasonal dishes using fresh local produce Leading by example coaching, motivating and supporting your kitchen team Keeping on top of stock, orders and kitchen organisation Making sure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness are spot on Looking after equipment and keeping the kitchen in great shape What were looking for: At least 2 years experience in a busy kitchen A real passion for good food and local produce Someone whos confident running a team and leading a shift A positive attitude and calm approach under pressure Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards Apply now and become part of our amazing team!
