About Us We are a small, friendly, and well-equipped nursery situated in Cookham, Berkshire. Our setting occupies a beautiful house that has been carefully designed to meet the needs of children aged 3 months to 5 years. We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment where every child can learn, play, and grow at their own pace. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Our Setting Our nursery features: Cosy baby rooms for children under two years, including a dedicated sleep room Two small toddler rooms for children aged two to three years A welcoming pre-school space for children aged three to five years, including a creative playroom with painting, sand, and water activities A large enclosed outdoor play area for safe, active exploration We also enjoy regular local outings to the park, visit the ducks and farm animals, and sometimes even take short train rides to nearby Marlow or Bourne End to support childrens curiosity about the world around them. The Role As a Nursery Practitioner, you will: Provide high-quality care and education to children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Support the learning and development of each child through creative play and structured activities Work collaboratively with a supportive team to maintain a positive, inclusive environment Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their childs progress Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors About You We are looking for someone who is: Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education (or equivalent) Passionate about early childhood development and providing exceptional care Reliable, enthusiastic, and a great team player Able to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents Dedicated to creating a fun, nurturing, and engaging learning environment What We Offer Competitive salary from 26,000 per annum Supportive, friendly team environment Beautiful, well-resourced setting with strong community links Opportunities for professional development and training TPBN1_UKTJ
