Pizza Chef Location: Cotswolds Boutique Hotel & Restaurant Job type: Full-time / Permanent Hours: Approx. 45-48 hours per week, including evenings/weekends Salary: Competitive 35,000 - 40,000 About us We are a stylish boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, offering relaxed luxury, beautiful surroundings and outstanding food. Our restaurant features a wood-fired pizza kitchen as part of our casual dining experience, showcasing fresh local produce and authentic techniques. Youll join a dynamic, close-knit brigade in a venue with strong guest satisfaction and a growing reputation. The role As our Pizza Chef, you will: Prepare pizza doughs, sauces and toppings from scratch, ensuring consistent quality. Operate our pizza oven (wood-fired or stone) and bake pizzas to perfection texture, flavour and presentation. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, especially during peak times, and support other kitchen sections when required. Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and health & safety. Work with the Head Chef/Executive Chef to update and innovate the pizza menu (seasonal toppings, specials, vegetarian/vegan options). Contribute to stock management (ordering, waste control) and assist with training junior team members. Be flexible with shifts evenings, weekends and public holidays will be required. What were looking for Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a busy kitchen (ideally with wood-fired/stone oven experience). Skilled in dough preparation, dough handling, oven management and topping assembly. Excellent kitchen discipline: time-sensitive execution, attention to detail, high standards. Good team player, able to communicate clearly with colleagues and front-of-house. Flexible, reliable and committed to delivering outstanding guest dining experiences. Knowledge of food safety, allergen control and kitchen hygiene standards. Ideally, you will have a passion for quality ingredients and an interest in contributing to menu development.
