As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while working in a vibrant salon environment. Duties Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling according to client preferences. Perform makeup application and eyelash extensions as requested by clients. Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on hair care and styling. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with services provided. Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience. Participate in ongoing training and mentoring of junior staff members to foster a collaborative team environment. Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and industry best practices. Skills Proficient in various hairstyling techniques, including cutting, colouring, and barbering. Experience in makeup application and eyelash extensions is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in store management or front desk operations is an advantage. Ability to upsell products and services while maintaining a positive client relationship. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
