The Role We are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, proactive and organised Swim Teachers to work as part of a team at Culford Sports & Tennis Centre. Swimmers will be aged from 4 years - adults. This is an exciting position to work in an ever developing setting. Applicants must hold either a Swim England or STA Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification. A NRASTC or NPLQ qualification would be desirable not essential.This role reports to the Swim Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities The implementation of the Swim England expectations for each level of swimming. Implement all safeguarding policies and procedures Maintaining excellent parent partnerships The supervision of health and safety Implement all Culfords Sports & Tennis Centre policies and procedures and input into policy development Skills and Personal Qualities Be responsible, honest and reliable Be practical and enjoy working with children Stay calm in an emergency Have good verbal communication skills Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation (training will be given) Be happy to work alone or part of a group To have a smart and professional appearance and demeanour Commitment to the schools Equal Opportunities Policy Willingness to undertake appropriate professional development when necessary Be forward-thinking and seek continuous improvement Model and promote the values of flexibility, innovation, dynamism and resilience.
